The Sea is My Mother

The sea is my mother in her I trust
In her care I release body, spirit
In her rants there are torments, rewards
Rise and fall, upon her heaving breast, peace
Rushing waters across the bow, ears fill
With melodic calm, music of the sea
Immersed am I in her beauteous depths
Caressed as if by rose petal softness
In her gentle arms I find solace
Her synergy infiltrates my being
Flying free my finite spirit exalts
A wayward comet traversing space, time
In my wake lie wondrous accomplishments
Epic moments to cherish forever
For in mother the sea I am fulfilled
